Another year at Mobile World Congress has come to a close, and the energy in Barcelona was unmatched. This year’s event was dominated by the critical themes of AI and sovereignty, reflecting a shift toward more intelligent and secure global networks.
The NetLync team was on the ground to showcase our latest innovations and strengthen our global partnerships.
Our partnership with GSMA, established in September 2025, reached a new milestone this year with the launch of GSMA Entitlements. At the GSMA pavilion in Hall 4, we demonstrated the platform’s latest capabilities, including new use cases such as Phone Number Verification, cross-platform eSIM transfer, cross-platform RCS, and Satellite for Android.
We were also proud to participate in the Device Enablement Summit, hosted by GSMA and sponsored by Google. A major highlight was our shout-out from OnOff Telecom, which successfully launched GSMA Entitlements with an impressive 2-week development time.
From messaging to security, NetLync’s technology was integrated into the most talked-about demos at the show:
RCS for Business: In Android Avenue, we saw how brands like United Airlines, Nespresso, and IHG are using RCS for Business. As a universal solution, RCS is surpassing traditional messaging apps to become the future of customer service.
Phone Number Verification (PNV): At the Google Cloud booth, we saw demos of PNV—a more secure and seamless alternative to SMS verification. Currently supported by numerous carriers worldwide, this technology is already being utilized by platforms like Telegram and Snapchat.
Android Network Ready: Android announced a new initiative to promote premium user experiences and ensure interoperability across all global carriers.
Satellite & D2D Connectivity: Direct-to-Device (D2D) is becoming the standard for ubiquitous coverage. We highlighted our Satellite for Android use case on the EaaS platform, standing alongside major industry announcements from providers like SpaceX, T-Mobile, Amazon, and Orange.
The Google Firebase team gave a fantastic demo of the phone number verification use case in action at MWC. Check out the replay:
Beyond our own demos, we celebrated the progress of our partners:
G+D: Philip Schulte was at the eSIM summit presenting how cloud-powered eSIM solutions are evolving to address increasing fraud risks and the need for high-reliability security in the rapidly expanding IoT ecosystem.
CSG: NetLync CEO Emir Aboulhosn and CSG’s Malcolm Crouch delivered a featured presentation on leveraging the entitlements platform to monetise new use cases and unlock innovative revenue streams for global carriers.
AWS Telecom: AWS showcased how Agentic AI is revolutionising telecom by moving from simple chatbots to autonomous systems that can reason and execute complex network tasks.
We aren't slowing down. We are currently developing new AI-powered tools designed to simplify troubleshooting and testing for Entitlements implementations. Stay tuned for our announcements spotlighting this new functionality.
